In Ayurvedic textbooks, it is known as Yakrutodar roga, inducing Pachaan (Digestion), and Rakt-Pravah (blood circulating) problems. There is a balanced functioning of 3 bodies governing Doshas, namely; Vata, Pitta, and Kapha in a human body. These doshas are responsible for maintaining Panchtatva; i.e; Agni, Jal, Prithvi, Akash, and Vayu. Any imbalance of these body Doshas gives birth to diseases including fatty liver.

Lemon

Fatty liver mainly occurs due to excessive fat, which causes inflammation, and damage in the liver. The use of certain citrus fruits can be beneficial in this condition.

They are also rich in Vitamin C, antioxidants, and detoxifying features, that may aid in improving liver function. Remedy:

Add half of the lemon into 1 glass of water, and drink it 2-3 times a day. For better taste, you can also add some honey, a pinch of black pepper, and mint leaves to this mixture.

Turmeric

You can consume 1 tsp of papaya seeds orally daily. You can also intake papaya seeds in a powdered form. For this, simply pour the seeds out of the papaya and wash them thoroughly. Now dry them under sunlight for 3-4 days.

After that slightly roast them, and crush them into a powder using a grinder. One spoon of this powder, along with lukewarm water, or honey will keep liver-related problems at bay.

Cinnamon

Remedy:

Mix 1 & ½ tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with a large glass of water. Infuse it before your meals, typically twice a day. However, you can also add 1 spoon of honey for better taste.

The taste, or fragrance of apple cider vinegar may remain unpleasant even after adding honey to it. So, the people who find it difficult to drink can switch to apple cider vinegar pills, easily available in markets nowadays. Flaxseeds and Chia Seeds
